  • Feather blends

    For hundreds of years down and feather has been one of the most popular cushion choices on the planet. It’s breathable, durable, comfortable, and resilient. Down and feather is an environmentally friendly choice. -Biodegradable & Renewable – Synthetic fill materials are often composed of non-renewables resources like oil, whereas down and feather is directly from a renewable source. Overall, when compared side by side, down and feather products will have a smaller carbon footprint than their synthetic counterparts.

    Duck vs Goose down - While most people cannot tell a meaningful difference, Goose down has more fill power, and is a more luxurious selection.

  • Fiber Fill

    We offer various synthetic fills as well, provide affordable and quality alternatives to down.

    Cluster Fiber - Conjugated polyester fiber spun into little, bean size balls. Pillows made from Cluster fiber have the advantage, that when they are “fluffed”, the little fiber balls rearrange inside the pillow (regroup ), increasing the life of the pillow.


    Angel Hair Fiber -    This fiber is a synthetic imitation down that does not clump up over time


    Blown Poly Fiber - Synthetic fiber used for stuffing pillows and other soft objects such as stuffed animals


  • Ticking insert cover

    All inserts are constructed using a ticking cover around the exterior of the insert. Our cushions are constructed using a high-grade 230-thread count down-proof ticking. All fabric panels in the cushion are the same hi-grade ticking. The down & feather fill is completely contained in a ticking envelope that is baffled to keep the fill from shifting. All seams are turned in for a smooth finish.

    This ticking helps prevent feathers from escaping through the fabric, and then the cushion over time. It also helps with inserting the cushion into the cover.

    Measuring

    Please measure your current cushion cover from seam to seam. All measurements are processed in inches, to the nearest half inch. Rounding up is usually safer than rounding down. Please reference the measurement guide for additional information.

    More about Down

    Down is composed of the light weight fluffy clusters that lay beneath the feathers of waterfowl that protect them from the elements. Down is composed of thousands of individual fibers formed together in a three dimensional cluster which contains no quill. Feathers are what most people are familiar with when imagining a feather. They are two dimensional and help provide support and “body” to your down and feather products. All of our feathers and down are cleaned thoroughly (washed no less than thirteen times) in non phosphate non-ionic water. The result is a set of low turbidity and oxygen numbers that rule out the presence of any unwanted materials (such as dust and plant matter).

    Please be aware that some individuals may be allergic to down to varying degrees.

    Please allow 10-14 business days for processing & custom insert creation and shipping time.

    Returns

    You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be undamaged, and a different size than the dimensions that the customer input in the order form, greater than a margin of 1".

    To start a return, you can contact us at foamtofit@gmail.com. Please send along a detailed description of the issue, along with pictures and measurements that include the measurement in the full frame of the picture.

    Damages and issues
    Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

    Exceptions / non-refundable items
    Items that are damaged after use are not refundable. Items that you modify in any way are not eligible for refund or replacement. A change in fill preference or size is not eligible for refund.

    Refunds
    We will notify you once we’ve received and processed your request, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
